mPaper Corrections Policy
mPaper is committed to accuracy.
Despite our editorial processes, mistakes can occasionally occur. When a material factual error is identified, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently.
What We Correct
Corrections may be appropriate for errors involving:
- Names
- Dates
- Locations
- Statistics
- Quotations
- Job titles
- Identifications
- Election figures
- Financial figures
- Factual descriptions
- Misattributed information
- Other material facts
Minor typographical, grammatical, formatting, or stylistic changes may be made without adding a correction notice where they do not materially change the meaning of an article.
Article Updates
News stories may be updated as events develop.
An update is not necessarily a correction.
For example, an article may be updated to include:
- A new official statement.
- Additional election results.
- A response from a person mentioned in the story.
- New information from authorities.
- Updated casualty or financial figures.
Significant Corrections
When an error materially affected the meaning of a story, we may add a correction or editor’s note explaining what was changed.
How to Request a Correction

Please include:
- The article title.
- The article URL.
- The information you believe is incorrect.
- The proposed correction.
- Supporting documentation or reliable sources where possible.
We may contact you for additional information.
Removal Requests
We generally prefer correction or updating over removing an entire accurate article.
Requests for removal will be evaluated individually, taking into account factors such as:
- Public interest.
- Accuracy.
- Legal obligations.
- Privacy.
- Safety.
- The age and relevance of the information.
